She Talks to the Animals...

The petting zoo at  BearWorld was very entertaining because of Peyton.  She would approach each animal and say, "Hi!"  She had no fear and didn't mind them licking her or anything.
Peyton definately has a soft spot for her furry friends.

She had a hard time petting the chickens, peacocks and geese.  She finally touched the Goose and looked up at me and smiled and said "Touch."  It was so cute and reminded me of playing Duck, Duck, Goose.

Later when we were leaving I asked what her favorite animal was and she said, "Chicken."
Hmmm... not sure if I believe that.

Pey was really cute with the sleeping pig.  She would put her face right down there with his like she was trying to figure out where his face was.  She was so inquisitive and fearless.

BearWorld

We didn't give any blood... but we didn't follow all the rules either...

Peyton was in love the the Bews.

The challenge was to feed the fish without letting the ducks get the food first.

Unlimited rides with no lines... SCORE!

Peyton, our daredevil rode the coaster with her hands up.

Aren't these bears the cutest ever?

The Adventure Continues...

We saw lots of WILDLIFE and we hadn't even gotten to Yellowstone yet!

That is because we stopped at BEAR WORLD.

Our Island Park / Yellowstone Adventure

We threw everything in the car and hit the road getting a late start since Ryan had to work.  We were excited about our next adventure and then we came to this:

I thought, "That is odd.  Why would they take time to put a sign up?"  Then Ryan and I discussed it more and came to the conclusion that it must have been a big wreck and it was taking them a LONG time to get it cleaned up.  That is when the lightbulb went off - I had been on Facebook just before we left the house and saw a post from a friend saying her dad had lived to tell about the diesel rollover he was in near Malad.  Ahhh....  Why didn't I clue in and take an alternate route?

Luckily, We had Jerry Seynfield on CD to entertain us during the HOUR DETOUR.  We had our windows down and were laughing out loud!

Finally making it to Idaho Falls way past our goal, we stayed the night being more than half way to our destination.

The next morning the kids enjoyed the park between the hotel and the river.  There was a car show going on along with speed boat races.  We could have stayed and played in Idaho Falls but had to be on our way.
