Lava Hot Springs

It was our turn to plan the Green-Martin-Smith family camping trip so we ventured up to Idaho. We were excited to check out the hot springs, water slides, tubing the portneuf river and enjoy the koa complete with showers. What we didn't bargain for was the cooler temperatures, the train passing (and honking) at all hours and the rip off pricing for a tent spot at the KOA! Even with the surprises we had an enjoyable trip. Here are some of the highlights of our weekend adventure.

Aaron's grandpa has property nearby and we went and played on the swing and zip line. The swing was able to hold adults and kids but the kids had the most fun going again and again. Even the regular spining around ride wasn't enough for them. Uncle Aaron had them spinning around and around while being spun around and around! It made me sick just watching!!

The zip line got us all screaming! The Miles clan joined us on our adventure along with Kristen. They brought lots of humor to the trip.

Ryan helped push the zip riders back up to the platform so they could enjoy two rides in one!

Peyton all bundled up toasty and warm...

The next day we headed to the pool. Some braved the high dive platforms, some attempted the 30 mph water slides, and most headed to the hot pools in hopes of getting warm. And Hot we Got!!

Cotton Candy

I never got any at the reunion and since we had the machine an extra day we made some more! It is a treat seeing the "cotton" floating in the air catching the pieces to eat right out of the air. Landon had fun creating mulitple flavors, mixing and layering. But the best part is how it magically melts away on your tongue!

Lewis All American Reunion

The Reunion began with Smores on Thurs. night. We had a blast at Little Bear Bottoms on the slip n slide all day Friday.

Saturday was All American Festivities with a Baseball game, Hot Dogs and Country Fair.

We had a talent program and ended the night with the famous Auction.

Bear Lake Take 2

Ryan's cousin TJ stopped in for a visit so we headed back to the lake the following week.

Peyton got to try out her new shades...

Alisha, Colby, McKinley, Alex and TJ heading back out to the boat. No one had a camera on the boat while everyone wakeboarded and surfed so we have no proof that you did it Ryan...

The kids exporing the grassy beach...
why did BLM think we needed grass planted in the sand?

Stockton stole the cattail and is making a getaway

"can't catch me!"

It was great enjoying another day at the beach and being treated to a BBQ at Kelly and Aaron's cozy cabin (it looks fabulous!!) We enjoyed catching up with TJ and his fun family too!

What a STUD!
