Ryan's family camping trip was up near the Sinks in Logan Canyon.
It was a nice area away from everyone else. The kids like pretending they were riding... since we were well informed, by the Ranger that ticketed Shauna, that kiddo's can't ride without helmets.
Taylor and Peyton getting dirty.
Stock and McKinley getting ready for the nature scavenger hunt.
Peyton found a friend...
A large spiderweb we spotted while doing the Nature Scavenger hunt. The kids had fun finding insects to throw into it and watch the spider snatch them up until the web got broken. I wonder how long it takes to make a new one...
Shauna leading the way to find something on the Nature list.
Bear Lake always blows! We headed down to the lake and the boat didn't last long before it had to be brought in. The kids were content to just play in the sand and water.
Peyton loved the water and it was so nice how shallow it was... I didn't have to worry and got to enjoy my book.
Lacy helped the kids make a sand castle complete with moat.
Colby, working on his tan lines, Jolisa and Janeth.
More digging.
MaKady and McKinley had fun getting Ryan wet.
The cold water got to be too much! I think he is cold here... not really posing even though it appears that way.
Seashells anyone?
Getting warm by burying themselves.
Ethan, Kelby, Stock, Carston
The guys enjoyed some football.
Ryan, Colby, Adam
Our cute Beach Princess.
Peyton can say "Fish" She carried this blow up around the whole day.
The sun was out, the water was refreshing, memories were made. It was a good end to Summer!
We are not quite sure how it traveled but sand made it home with us too.
