Dinosaurland

It had been 3 years since we had traveled to Ryan's old stomping grounds.  After a little guilt tripping we planned a weekend trip to Roosevelt and Vernal.  The kids were so excited when we told them we were going to go to Dinosaurland you would have thought we were headed for Disneyland.

After camping a night at Strawberry Reservoir, where the fishing had much to be desired, we headed to Roosevelt to set up camp at Ryan's uncle's place.  Hoping to catch up with the Green cousins we headed to Vernal to spend the day.  Finally, we made it to Dinosaurland.  I have to admit the museum was pretty cool.  And to think we were walking on the same land Dinosaurs once roamed!

Things are always more fun with cousins! McKinley loved pulling faces.

Petrified Dinosaur tracks and bones.

Travis helped the kids "dig" for fossils.

Peyton had to have a turn too.

Exploring...

Travis had as much fun as the kids!

Kelly and Aaron helping Taylor see the fossils.

Peyton playing with the Dino toys.

Aaron was explaining to McKinley that if she got to close to the Dinosaurs they would come alive and eat her.

Ethan and the woolly mammoth

Stockton and the Stegosaurus.

Our Family with the T-Rex.

Travis tried to show the kids how to catch a goldfish with his hands.

We think bulldogs evolved from these...

It was an adventurous day!
