Peyton Turns *2*

The BIRTHDAY GIRL had a magical day.  Her brother's doted on her all day long.  Peyton is such a girly girl, she loves to dress up, wear makeup, walk in high-heels and play with "ba-bees".  We love our 2-year old!

The Birthday Girl with her favorite boys.

Opening presents...

Did I mention she LOVES shoes?

So happy she could care less about any other presents!

 TWINKLE TOES

Stock and Ethan did Peyton's hair with her new hair styling set from Grandma and Grandpa.  (Proves that girl toys are *cool* too!)

Peyton cried when I had to take her new "Ba-bee" away to put it into the cake.  She loved her cake!

Making * A * Wish

I had a hard time deciding where to place the candles... here it looks a little like Katy Perry with her fireworks.  Luckily Pey didn't seem to notice.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEYTON!!

The rest of her birthday was spent with some favorite people at the fun park.

Pey's Birthday Visits

Grandma and Grandpa Bartholomew stopped by with a special gift for Peyton.
Her own princess hair styling set.

The blow dryer really blows.  She loves it!

Grandma Smith came by with a project:
First we had to build the Princess kitchen.

Everyone helped and Peyton loves playing with it.  The stove sizzles and the faucet sounds like water.
She can now cook for Cinderella!

Snow much FUN!

Winter doesn't seem to want to end.

We got another dumping and these 2 stinkers had cabin fever so we dug out the snow stuff AGAIN.

Luck of the Irish

I love St. Patty's Day!
This year we had 2 traps set to try to catch a leprichan.
The boys woke us up earlier than they have EVER gotten up on Christmas.
The house was a total mess... couches tipped over, things misplaced, glitter and silly string everywhere.

The traps didn't catch anything but gold was left behind!  (Gold dollar coins and Gold wrapped chocolate coins)

I made some cute Lucky drinks for my VT sisters:

We enjoyed Rainbow waffles for dinner.

And sipped our juice from these shamrock straws.

The boys were surprised with boxes of Lucky Charms with a note that read:
I am so LUCKY to be your Mom!

March Madness

Ryan had me fill out brackets this year. He always likes to see how I will do being oblivious to the teams.
I was pretty excited with my Sports Academy bracket until the final 4.  I was in 2nd place and dropped to 7th.  The friendly competition was fun!

Daddy's Girl

Blowing Kisses

Peyton is definately ALL GIRL!
She thinks she needs to wear her skirts EVERYWHERE!

She literally got herself dressed in this and thought she could leave the house.
One skirt on bottom and who needs a shirt when you can always wear another skirt?!

Oh, and don't forget the heels!

But who can resist her when she blows you a kiss?

MUAH!!

LOVE YOU!  You are growing up way to fast!

Jr. Jazz

Ethan had fun playing organized Basketball for the first time.
He learned some good team skills and improved on his ball handling.

The family had a fun time watchin him play.

Best Buds

I walked in to find these 2 like this...

Watching "Disney" together.
Peyton knows how to get things. She learned to stay Disney - even though it sounds like Doggy or Daddy.  When she is handing you a remote and saying it you know she wants to watch Disney.

I don't know what she will do when Stock goes to school next year

Parachutes not included

The boys got to go on an adventure - a discovery flight around Cache Valley.  There was only room for 3 passengers so I let Ryan experience it with Ethan and Stockton.  Our first scheduled flight had to be cancelled because of fog.  The pilot felt bad sending us away without an experience so he let the boys tour the hanger and showed them the planes.  Ethan and Stock were thrilled with sitting in the pilot seats and checking out all the buttons.

Two weeks later they got to go on their flight.  Oh the excitement!  I was worried that Ethan would get scared since he wouldn't dare ride the rides at Lagoon. I tried to explain take off and landing but he didn't want to hear it.  He said this wasn't anything like Lagoon.

They geared up with their headsets.

And loaded the plane.  Stockton and Ethan had had a discussion about skydiving and jumping out of the plane.  We asked the pilot about this and he said parachutes aren't even on board!  The plane just crash lands if necessary.  {He assured me it was safer this way.}

Ethan sat in the pilots seat and the real pilot was the "co-pilot" for this flight.  Ryan and Stock sat in the back.

 Taking off...
 A safe landing...

Here is what Ethan wrote about the experience:

The tricks Ethan refered to let them feel what zero gravity feels like.  The pilot's clip board floated in front of their eyes.  Ryan said they were lifted out of their seats for about 6 seconds.  The boys thought it was fun but Ryan got a little sick.  Feeling up for a little adventure yourself?  Go see the guys at Leading Edge Aviation.
