Here is a top ten list of the many changes he has learned that first grade brings:
1- no more morning or afternoon schedule - first grade is ALL day long.
2- you learn to eat different things by participating in school lunch.
3- more home work (no more coloring and cutting - lots and lots of reading!)
4- time to act like a 6 year old and follow school rules or you will miss recess or visit the principle!
5- making funny noises disrupts the class.
6- no more tables - you get a big kid desk!
7- classrooms are in a different area of the school.
8- pick up and drop off location changed and your teacher doesn't help you look for your ride.
9- you can ride your bike to and from school!
10- new class = new friends!
Stockton gets to go to Creative Corner Preschool with Teacher Jill!
Stockton was so excited to start school. He is much more outgoing than Ethan was at this age and loves making friends. If only preschool was EVERY day!
