FARMtastic FALL

I love having Pinching Your Pennies as a friend on Facebook. When I got online 2 Saturdays ago I found out it was Free Museam Day - something I had never heard of - and lucky me the American West Heritage Center was participating in the event! This meant my family of 5 got to enjoy all they had going on for Farmtastic Fall for F R E E ! I just love freebies so I drug Ryan and the kids to the farm. The kids ate it up and enjoyed every minute (even the Blackout Maze that was totally black that will make a great family home evening lesson in the future!)

The day was full of fun. First we started with the Activities at the Farm and visited the Blacksmith and the Wood Shop. The boys loved to chase the chickens and Peyton even had a visitor.

The Pony Rides were a big hit. Stockton didn't want to get off his and said, "let's go again". Luckily, no one was in line behind us to kick him off.

When Ethan found out we were going to the farm, he insisted on wearing this orange bandana to be a cowboy. We were happy that he removed it from his face so he didn't look like a robber and just stuck to being a cowboy!

The Super Slide was fun for Ethan. Stockton was too scared to try.

Oh, but the Gourd Launcher was fun for all - even Daddy! I don't know how many times I heard, "just one more" before they all gave up on hitting the target. They did come close a few times though!

Stockton was the first to JUMP from the Hay Fort Jump. They only left this attraction because they were thirsty!

After getting drinks we headed into the corn maze, skipping the kids pirate maze. Good thing we had a map! We would have been lost in there for sure!! We traveled through the horse, into the stars, up the tree, through the bat, to the head of the headless horseman and back out just feet from where we started.

The boys enjoyed the Pumpkin Patch Express mini train pulled by a tractor through, you guessed it, the pumpkin patch! But waited all day to ride the real train.

So long farm! We had a Fantastic Day!
