So life all of a sudden got super busy and I wanted to journal my thoughts. You are being forwarned now that I am not a writer...
I anticipated Summer coming to an end and school starting so I could slow down and enjoy the simple things. However life is unexpected. Having a 5 mo. old I decided to go back to the gym. The Sports Academy has a new Club Fit program and I needed something to motivate me and keep me consistent in my efforts so the day school started I started Club Fit. The first day I thought I was going to die (seriously!) It had been over a year since I had been to the gym and I started with a 30 min. class that was invented by an Navy Seal. Well I have continued to go M-F since the 20th and am now starting to really enjoy it. I wish I could say I have had extreme weight loss but I am getting toned. Ryan comes with me twice a week on his lunch break and it is fun to do it together.
The end of Aug. we celebrated our 12th anniversary. We competed in the Amazing Race (through the Sports Academy) with our friends Ben and Angie. Ryan and I are big fans of the reality show. We would love to compete on the show but know that we would probably kill each other so we were excited to do the local race. Since I had just begun working out again and had killed myself at the gym everyday leading up to the race I could not run for the life of me and sadly let my team down making us take 2nd place.
I decided to slow down in my jewelry selling career which has been bittersweet. I miss the relationships and the rewarding business I had but know that now is the time to spend more time at home. It is hard to not get recognition for work done at home and feel that I need to prove myself everyday but cherish the time just being a mom.
With that said...trying to slow down didn't last even a few weeks when I was asked to be the Cubmaster on top of my Enrichment Leader calling. A new calling that was only supposed to be once a month is sure taking up a lot more of my time than I first thought. Both callings will allow me to use my creativity and I am excited to be serving in both capacities.
Ryan has finally been able to get relief with his 5 year back pain. Working weekly with a chiropractor getting laser treatments has been a huge blessing.
Ethan started art classes and we are all excited for him to pursue this talent. Hopefully he will have a great piece to submit to the reflections contest this year.
It has been such a joy to be home with Stockton during the day. He gets so excited about his accomplishments and can't wait until Daddy and Ethan get home so he can share his news. Until then, he tells Peyton over and over again things like "Pey-Pey I went poop in the potty all by myself".
Peyton is definately a girl - so different from the boys. We are starting to see her personality.
Well thats my life right now in a nut shell!
