Fireworks, Parade, Candy,
BBQ, Classic Cars, Sparklers
...Good * Times...
It was so nice getting home from vacation and having a holiday weekend! The kids had naps and then we loaded up and went to the stadium. The fireworks were AWESOME and the music selection FANTASTIC! It was funny watching mom act like a kid again - standing everytime the song said "and I proudly STAND UP". (Josh and Jake will probably never read this but it brought back memories of watching the fireworks with them as kids.) Jess got some way cool pictures. I was too busy holding Peyton's ears to attempt anything with the camera. It wouldn't be the 4th of July without the Hyrum Star Spangled Parade. The kids got a good allotment of candy and I have to say Wellsville had the best float! I think there needs to be a float competition started...
We were invited to watch the Cruise In parade and BBQ at Ryan's cousin Tessa's house. She could be the next Martha Stewart! I didn't think about it until later to take pictures but her and Carol did a great job making it festive - red/white/blue Jones sodas on ice, red/blue popcorn, dishes, etc. Matt was an awesome chef - making the food extra tasty! The kids loved playing together. And the cars were SUPER COOL. Sparklers were the perfect way to end the night.

That is a funny story about your mom. Dave's mom always stands up during God Bless the USA also. She thinks she is being so hilarious. Must be a Grandma thing.
We had a great time with you guys at the BBQ! Plan on it next year, we're making it tradition! You called about my etsy store- not quite ready yet, but I'm trying to get things going this week. Haven't decided on a price for the capes yet, but market research- what would you pay? Thanks for the input!
